Kentra Training – December News Bulletin. 

We have lots of information for you, but firstly we would like to which you a Merry Christmas from everyone at Kentra Training. Thank you for continued support through the years and here’s to many more!!

New Categories

We have been excited to add a number of categories to our instructors remits in recent months, so just to recap we can now provide the following courses all with NPORS registration:

N017 Abrasive Wheels – Petrol driven cut off saw

N025 – Concrete cutting Chainsaw

N140 – Compact / Mini crane (Including the Spider Crane)

and coming soon is the new Excavation Marshall – Banksperson N027. This category is designed for those who will act as a banksperson for excavator operators whilst carrying out excavating duties.

Hand Held Equipment

NPORS are also withdrawing registration for N701 Hand Held Equipment with immediate effect, we have our own unique course developed with NPORS P725 Small plant and portable tools course which maybe an alternative if you need an awarding body registration.

NPORS Registration Fee

With effect from 1st February 2018 NPORS are increasing the cost of their operator registrations. Therefore any applications after this date will be £35.00 per person / application, plus VAT.

New Operator Card Design

NPORS have been working on a new operator card design and we look forward to seeing them when they are launched in early 2018.

Christmas Office Hours

Kentra office will be closed from 4.30pm on Wednesday 20th December and will re-open at 9am on Monday 8th January 2018.
