Kentra can provide various fire training courses for candidates, from Risk Assessments to tackling a fire.
For more information click onto the adjacent links for the individual course content.
Certification & Validation – Fire Training courses can be registered with different awarding bodies if required, such as NPORS or a Kentra card – as a registered training provider we can supply a plastic ID card as proof of training, suitable for the HSE and insurances.
If an awarding body validation is required we will need to notify them prior to the course, so please mention this when booking.
Course Requirements – We are an on-site training company, and would need a room for the theory session and a safe area for the practical session (is applicable). Full course requirements are detailed on the individual course content pages.
If conducting live fires we will require a cleared outside area and at a distance of at least ten meters from any property. The fire can not be left unattended at any time and shall be extinguished at least one hour prior to Kentra leaving your site at the end of the day.
We are also able to do a practical session without a live fire, where the candidates can practice with a fire extinguisher if this is a more suitable option for you.
If any other machine/equipment is of interest please ask and we will be able to accommodate the course, here’s a quick link to our contact us page. We look forward to assisting you with your training requirements.
