Kentra can provide a Fire Warden training course, to train personnel in the duties of a Fire Warden. The course can be registered with ourselves or with an awarding body if required.
Ratio 8 candidates: 1 Instructor, Duration: Half Day
To train personnel in the duties of a Fire Warden
Responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation.
Selection of Fire Extinguisher
Prepare extinguisher for use
Types and dangers
Stand down – including completion of record of fire evacuation and test
A room for the theory session and an area for the candidates to select and examine the serviceability of the fire extinguishers. (Gauge weight and general condition).
Certificate & Validation
The course can be registered with different awarding bodies if required, or simply a Kentra card ~ as a registered training provider we can supply a plastic ID card as proof of training, suitable for the HSE and insurances.
If an awarding body validation is required we will need to notify them prior to the course, so please mention this when booking.
