Kentra can provide a Basic Food Hygiene training course, upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Kentra certification for basic food hygiene.

To ensure that the food handlers meet the training requirements of the Food Safety Act Regulations and are fully conversant with the practical procedures and methods of applying food hygiene in workplace
Introduction to Food Safety
The First principles
Microbiology and illness
How bacteria multiply
High risk food
Contamination and prevention of illness
Preparing and presenting food
Spoilage and preservation
Delivery and storage
The course is followed by a thirty question multi-choice examination paper, which maybe conducted orally
A room for the theory session and a safe area for the practical session.
Certification & Validation
Candidates successfully completing this course will receive the following certification:
Kentra Certification for the Basic Food Hygiene Training Course.
