To ensure that the food handlers meet the training requirements of the Food Safety Act Regulations and are fully conversant with the practical procedures and methods of applying food hygiene in workplace

Part 1
The First principles

Part 2
Microbiology and illness
How bacteria multiply
High risk food

Part 3
Contamination and prevention of illness
Temperature control
Preparing and presenting food
Spoilage and preservation
Delivery and storage

Part 4
Personal hygiene

The course is followed by a thirty question multi-choice examination paper, which maybe conducted orally

Course Requirements
A room for the theory session and a safe area for the practical session.

Certification & Validation
Candidates successfully completing this course will receive the following certification:
