Course Content
Responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act, 2007
Responsibilities under other relevant legislation,
Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 2007, LOLER, PUWER etc.
Safety rules applicable to equipment type(s)
Pre-operational checks
Emergency procedures
Accident investigation
Appreciation of operating conditions

Course Requirements
A room for the theory session and a safe area for the practical session.

These courses are designed to help you comply with the recommendations of the Health and Safety Commission Approved Code Of Practice and Supplementary Guidance for Rider Operated Lift Trucks Operator Training (L117) & The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98 Sect 9)
Now required for anyone who manages or supervises operators of fork lift trucks.
