Novice: 3 Candidates: 1 Instructor: 1 Day
Refresher and Tests: 3 Candidates: 1 Instructor: 1 Day
Experienced Worker Tests (EWT): 6 Candidates: 1 Instructor: 1 Day
To train candidates in the marshalling, moving, parking and working with machines performing various tasks i.e. loading a vehicle, excavating a trench etc
Slinger’s responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, LOLER 1998 and other relevant legislation.
Pre Operational Checks
Guide plant machinery into designated area
Manoeuvre plant machinery to complete a task
Reverse plant machinery into a position to tip
Monitoring and directing plant machinery
Safely guide plant machinery into a designated parking area
A room for the theory session and a safe area for the practical session, with a machine and driver for the candidates to marshall.
Certification & Validation
This course can be registered with different awarding bodies if required, or simply a Kentra card – as a registered training provider we can supply a plastic ID card as proof of training, suitable for the HSE and insurances.
If an awarding body validation is required we will need to notify them prior to the course, so please mention this when booking.
Candidates successfully completing this course will receive one of the following certifications:

NPORS registration and plastic ID card N133 Plant Machinery Marshall training course
