Ratio 8 Candidates: 1 Instructor, Duration: 1 Day
To produce effective risk assessors to cover the requirements of the DSE Regulations. Candidates should have sufficient knowledge and understanding of Display Screen equipment use to enable them to carry out and co-ordinate workstation assessments
Have a basic knowledge of health and safety regulations, enabling the carrying out of effective DSE assessments within a risk management program
Have the practical skills required for conducting effective DSE assessments
Be aware of DSE related risks
Be able to deal with practical compliance issues
Legislative Framework and Employer/Individual Responsibilities
Definition of a User
Eye/Eyesight Tests and Corrective Appliances
Training for the User
A room for the theory session with a power supply for the Instructor to plug in his laptop for the presentation.
