Marshalling Safety Training

The different Marshall Training Options
  • Excavation Marshal – to provide the delegate with the knowledge to be able to efficiently and effectively monitor and control the work and movement of mechanical excavators on a work site in accordance with company procedures.
  • Plant Machinery Marshal – this course is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required for effective plant machinery management and coordination. Throughout the course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities of both the driver and the plant marshal, forming a crucial foundation for efficient and safe operations on construction sites and other industrial settings.
  • Vehicle Marshal – This course is for any person who maybe involved in the movement of road vehicles, covering health and safety and practical lessons on how to move and direct a vehicle in a safe manner.

Training and Testing

All our courses can be registered with NPORS.   They consist of a theory session, which for novice courses include full training and presentation.  Refresher and test courses are just a recap of training, any changes in legislation, or updates on new regulations etc. whereas Experienced Workers Tests are straight in to the theory test consisting of 5 questions to answer in full and 20 multiple choice. The theory test required pass mark is 80%.

Our registration is number 66 and as such we are now one of the longest serving TP’s with them, delivering nearly 100 different training courses, including our own unique NPORS Small Plant and Portable Tools course and also Marshal Training, which is what this blog is about.
