Kentra Training is an accredited training organisation and NVQ assessment centre with over twenty years of experience. Since inception, we have been delivering quality training courses throughout Cheshire, the North West, and across the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man.
We provide on-site training and courses at our NPORS-approved training centre located in Middlewich, in the heart of Cheshire. We pride ourselves in looking after every customer by delivering a first-class and fair-priced training service, using these flexible training options.
Most importantly, our people boast real work experience as well as outstanding practical and classroom skills. All our instructors are fully qualified highly proficient tutors, examiners and assessors, IV’s and EV’s registered and monitored by the Awarding Bodies. Which is in addition to their individually held teaching and NEBOSH qualifications. We are therefore able to teach up to and including Instructor level, even our office staff hold teaching qualifications!

Accredited Training For Industrial, Construction & Agriculture Businesses
Kentra Training Limited is an Approved Centre to provide Accredited Training with a number of Awarding Bodies. Courses can therefore be registered with them, if required such as NPORS training, in addition to our own Kentra courses which we provide.
NPORS
The National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, or NPORS as it is more commonly know was established in 1992, NPORS is now one of the UK’s leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies, working across the Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine sectors.
NPORS training offers flexibility, whilst maintaining standards, both nationally and internationally by working with industry and Accredited Training Providers.
Health & Safety NVQs
In order to achieve a Construction Plant Competency Scheme (CPCS) card or NPORS CSCS card, candidates must achieve a full Plant Operations (PO) NVQ or, where a full NVQ is not available, the relevant NVQ units.
Kentra can help to provide the necessary assessment and verification service to assist candidates in achieving the full NVQ. This service is aimed at new plant operators looking to gain formal recognition for their plant operating skills.
