Training Updates!
As many of you know one of our most popular open courses is the
N019 Report of Thorough Examination course.
The program covers small lifting equipment and lifting accessories and these need to be checked and certified on a regular basis. So why not check them yourselves in-house and save some money? By getting one or more of your employees trained they can then undertake these assessments and issue the required Reports of Thorough Examinations therefore reducing your costs.
For more details on the course and latest dates for the next open course coming up on October, here’s a link to our website. https://kentratraining.co.uk/our-latest-loler-inspection-training/
NPORS Registration Price Increase
We greatly value your continued trust and support of the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to delivering the highest quality training accreditation.
The price for NPORS registration has remained the same for many years, during this time the notification and application processes have become more complex and time consuming. In order to continue offering you the very best service, we find it necessary to adjust our prices.
With effect from 1st October, NPORS registration will be £45.00 +VAT per person (per application). All current bookings in October will remain at the prices quoted, this new charge will be for any future orders.
Thank you for continuing to support Kentra and the NPORS scheme.
Stay Compliant with Changing Regulations
As the industry evolves, so do health and safety regulations. Our courses are constantly updated to reflect the latest compliance standards, ensuring your business stays ahead of potential risks.
One question we are constantly asked is ‘How long does the training last for?’
We work to the HSE guidelines which recommends Refresher Training every 3 to 5 years, depending on the frequency of the candidates use of the knowledge. There are important exceptions to this. i.e. after a period of absence or if there is a accident or incident. (For a copy of the full wording, email the office and we can send it over)
Let us help you navigate these changes smoothly.
First Aid!
In our newsletters we love to mention our friends Simon and Amy over at Cheshire First Aid. They are an amazing little team delivering a wide range of First Aid courses https://www.cheshirefirstaid.co.uk/
As a company we attend these courses regularly, and we still learn new things each time. We’ve just completed our annual refresher and Yes, the girls beat the boys on the CPR challenge by getting a higher accuracy with our chest compressions and breathing! Don’t worry not all their courses do this, but as colleagues we are just a bit competitive and did I mention the girls won 🙂
If you also want office bragging rights, don’t hesitate to get in touch with them for the Resusci Anne competition.
