We have a plan for 2021
2020 was tough for everybody. Lots of businesses, including many that we know, have sadly had to close their doors. We have been fortunate and thanks to the support of our customers, suppliers and staff we are able to make plans for the future by continuing to build our course portfolio to provide you with our professional high standard of training.
You may know we already offer over 100 different courses covering construction, lifting equipment and warehousing – check out our online Brochure to find out everything we can offer.
New for 2021
New courses for 2021 include
S029 Construction Site Safety Supervisor
S031 Construction Site Safety Manager
S032 Construction Site Safety Manager – Refresher
S033 Construction Site Safety Supervisor – Refresher
N034 Plant Supervisor Awareness
N035 MEWP Supervisor Awareness
N036 Fork Lift Truck Supervisor Awareness
These manager and supervisor courses can be delivered on-site. In additon, the plan for 2021, is to hopefully offer these as open courses at our training centre in Middlewich, on a per person basis so you don’t have to worry about a large number of Supervisors or Managers being on a course at one time.
CSSM
Our first new course from this program is the S031 Construction Site Safety Manager, a 5 day course scheduled for week commencing Monday 25th January 2021.
We are offering this course for a special discounted price of £225.00 per person plus VAT to include the registration and NPORS membership card.
If you would like more course details, please drop me a message or email office@kentratraining.co.uk.
Website
As with most things digital, our website is constantly evolving and updating. So I’m pleased to let you in on a secret ….. new pages are coming soon 😉
Training Centre
We continue to operate at our training centre where courses of one or two candidates can be conducted in the classroom. The larger classes have been moved into the warehouse where we can maintain social distancing for the bigger number of candidates.
We have a COVID QR poster for checking in upon arrival, hand washing facilities available and gallons of sanitiser for your use.
At Kentra we like to minimise our impact on the environment but, in the short term, we have changed to recyclable cups, plates and cutlery. Everything is one person use, so there is no sharing. This does also mean that we are not offering the usual platter of sandwiches but the Little Cafe is still open for you to purchase lunch or you can bring your own. At Kentra the kettle very rarely gets cold.
Kentra Training Cards
We have just purchased a new card printer – so you may see a change in the design of our Training ID cards. They will continue to identity all the course details, instructor and candidate information but in our new format plan for 2021.
Instructors
We are still supported by our fantastic hardworking team of instructors, but have plans for the Spring to introduce two new members to the instructor team… we can’t wait to update you with their continued progress.
Lockdown 3
We are continuing to offer training through this latest lockdown, we would like to reassure you that we take the safety of our staff and customers extremely seriously and will be taking precautions to ensure that the training is conducted safely and in accordance with our awarding body and the government recommendations.
