The E’s today are all about Excavators – moving on to Excavator 360 in our series of short blogs looking at the A to Z of courses we do.
Excavators need very little explanation, 360’s are most commonly found on construction sites. We cover all aspects of training from Novice operators, candidates who need refresher training to experienced workers, just requiring an assessment.
Course ratios – Excavator 360
The course durations, training and testing ratios are
Novices : 1 – 10 days 3 Delegates
Refresher & Test : 1 day, up to 3 delegates
Experienced Worker Tests (EWT) : 1 day for up to 4 delegates. Alternatively for EWT’s we can deliver NPORS special combination of 3+3, meaning 3 candidates can be tested on Excavator 360 + Dumper in the same day.

Accreditation
Upon successful completion of the course the candidates will received a Kentra Training ID card (credit card size) detailing the course completed.
In addition, we have the option to register the training with our Awarding Body NPORS. www.npors.com If your candidates are working offsite or on other peoples premises a recognised Awarding Body membership maybe advantageous. Prior to training we would apply to NPORS to register the course and upon successful completion of the course we would apply for the candidates 5 year membership with the NPORS scheme.

Training locations
At Kentra we have always provided on-site training, coming to you and delivering the training in your own space using the equipment you are used to using.
We will require a room for the theory session.
Variations of machine available : Wheeled / Tracked / Quick Hitch Theory
Area to dig a trench 10m x 1m deep for below 10T and 15 – 20m x 1m deep for above 10T
A dumper / trailer to load into, vehicle to be filled to capacity. Minimum of 2 loads from each.
All vehicles to be in good working order.
LOLER certification if applicable.
